It’s Okay To Not Be Okay

If you get nothing else from me or this blog, I truly hope that this short message sticks with you.

As you read this I don’t know who you are, I don’t know what you’re going through, and I don’t know when it will get better. Honestly the only thing I do know about you is that it’s okay to be feeling how you do. It’s okay to hurt. It’s okay to be angry and confused about whatever it is life is putting through. It’s okay to not be okay.

I started this blog to try to open to people about the things going on in my head, but I also want to be able to help those of you who, like me, have started to question themselves. ┬áSo you may never visit here again. You may never read another word I write. You may never think about this blog again. Even if all that is true though, I hope you never forget that it’s okay to be depressed.
